VELEZZO LOMELLINA
La leggenda che vuole la Madonna galleggiante sulle acque solo per mezzo di un ceppo, o ciocco (lo zocco), e nata la leggenda popolare
in merito alla determinazione dei confini tra Lomello e Vellezzo. Durante una piena dell'Agogna fu veduta galleggiare sulle acqua una santa statua in
legno della Maria Santissima; la statua si fermo' nel posto dove oggi si trova un piccolo santuario dedicato alla Madonna dello Zocco (perche la statua fu raccolta da una bambina sordomuta) e mesa su un carro trainato da giovenche in modo da dirimere definitivamente le questione di possesso tra paesi. L'immagine fu collocata in quel punto prima sopra 1'altare aperto, poi definitivamente sistemata nel battistero per la devozione dei fedeli lomellesi. The legend
that the Virgin Mary floating on water only by means of a strain (the zocco),

La légende que la Vierge Marie flottant sur l'eau que par le
biais d'une souche (la Zocco), et créé la légende populaire
en ce qui concerne la détermination des frontières entre
Lomello et Vellezzo. Lors d'une dell'Agogna plein a été vu flottant sur l'eau
dans une statue sainte
bois de la
Vierge Marie, et la statue est toujours «à l'endroit où aujourd'hui il ya un
petit sanctuaire dédié à Notre-Dame de Zocco (parce que la statue a été
recueilli par une jeune fille sourde-muette) et mesa sur un char tiré par des
génisses afin de régler définitivement la question propriété entre les pays.
L'image a été placé dans le premier point ci-dessus 1'altare ouvert, puis
finalement placé dans le baptistère de la dévotion des fidèles lomellesi. Sur
