Di incerta datazione, fu infeudato nel 1573 ai Litta. Sia nelle parti originali e sia nell' aggiunta in stile fatta nel secolo scorso, il castello ha aspetto imponente e assai pittoresco, sono mirabili le torri centrali binate.
